Information We Process
mynefsapp is designed so that the personal information of your worship stays on your device. The current release of mynefsapp does not require an account, does not embed third-party advertising SDKs, and does not include behavioural tracking.
Location
Precise GPS coordinates used for prayer times and Qibla are processed locally on your device. They are not transmitted to mynefsapp servers. If you choose to enable notifications, the selected city and timezone may be sent to the push provider to schedule your reminders. You can disable location and notifications at any time in Settings.
Notifications
If notifications are enabled, a minimal payload containing your selected city and timezone is sent to the push provider so that reminders can be scheduled. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
Collective Hatim
The Collective Hatim feature lets you join anonymous rooms and coordinate reading a juz. Room participation does not require a personal profile.
Local Data
Your bookmarks, prayer history, dhikr counts, sleep records, and reading position are stored locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time through Settings → Data Reset.
Tracking & Advertising
The current release of mynefsapp does not contain any advertising and does not include any third-party analytics SDK.
Data Retention
Because most of your data is stored locally, retention is governed by your device. Notifications and any cloud-mediated features are governed by their own minimal retention rules.
Security
mynefsapp uses industry-standard transport security. Local data is stored within the secure storage of your device.
Children
mynefsapp is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we will notify users in-app.
